What needed to change.
Training, instruction sign-off, competency evidence, and compliance reporting were all part of the same operational responsibility. Cater Care needed one system that could support employees, agency managers, and internal admins without flattening their different roles.
The platform had to make readiness visible, keep progress tied to real user records, and give operators a cleaner way to review compliance across agencies, centres, and sites.

The challenge
What made it complex.
The challenge was making workforce readiness visible and manageable across several roles without turning the product into another static training portal.
Readiness depended on several evidence types
Module progress, SCORM state, SWI sign-off, quiz outcomes, expiry dates, and VOC records all needed to contribute to the broader compliance picture.
Different roles needed different views
Employees, agency managers, Cater Care managers, and admins needed different controls while still working from one workforce record.
SCORM needed to behave like infrastructure
Course launch, resume state, suspend data, lesson location, and completion status needed to be persisted properly against user records.
Reporting had to reduce manual assembly
Compliance exports needed a controlled path so operators could generate, review, and download reports without rebuilding evidence manually.

Webits built an operational training platform with role-based access, workforce structure, custom SCORM delivery, SWI sign-off, VOC evidence, compliance matrices, reporting queues, and export workflows.

Employees can see assigned modules, resume learning, review SWIs, complete required actions, and understand their own readiness state.

Course state is stored against user records, making resume behaviour and completion tracking part of the wider compliance model.
